Known as “The Windy City,” Chicago is home to about 2.7 million people and is the third most populated city in the country. In the metro area, there are close to 10 million people and similar to New York and Los Angeles, this is an international location. It is situated in the heart of Cook County and is situated also on Lake Michigan, in the Great Lakes. Also known as “Chi-Town,” this is an important city for international commerce and trade and attracts millions of visitors annually. The attractions in this city are plentiful, from Navy Pier on Lake Michigan to the Magnificent Mile on Michigan Avenue for some of the best shopping in the world. There are museums galore and more than enough shops and dining establishments to keep visitors busy for weeks on end. Lake Michigan also offers a rather unusual offering of recreational activities in the city, which is unusual for a city the size of Chicago.
